Three of these teams - Georgia State, Lamar, and South Alabama - will be playing their first seasons of intercollegiate football in 2010 (though Lamar had a team through the 1980s, and South Alabama played a club-level schedule in 2009).
Savannah State had a new helmet design in 2009 (shown above).
