Comments

I have received a report indicating that Grand Valley State will be using a new helmet design in 2008 - the helmets will remain black but will have a new logo consisting of the letters "GV" in white with the team name "LAKERS" in smaller letters. The one photograph which I received was a straight-on side view which could not reveal whether any stripes were present on the new design.

Tiffin will be a new member of this conference in 2008. Gannon and Mercyhurst have departed to join the PSAC.

I have never received much information about historical helmets for these teams - any useful information would be appreciated.
